In late June, 2021, four University of Hawaiʻi Manoa students, including James Finamore, were selected by their professors to have their works read by the Hawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra at the Waikiki Shell. “What a rush!” James shared, “To be able to work with musicians of such high caliber and have the opportunity to try out ideas in real time, was a tremendous privilege.
